Mail Merge


In class today we learned how to merge a letter. What we did was make a business letter inviting people we knew to a charity event for a charity of our choice. We first had to make an excel spreadsheet of the names and addresses of the people we wanted to invite. Then we had to write a formal letter. In the letter we had to write about the charity and about the event we were holding. Once we got down the letter we had to learn how to merge the information from excel to the letter. At first learning how to merge was difficult and confusing but once I got the hang of it, it became easy and I now know how to use it for the future.
